Sfera TShU 800×800×800 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The cubic outdoor body 800×800×800 mm is designed to house telecommunication and low-current equipment directly on site, without allocating a separate room. Galvanised steel with 50 mm mineral wool insulation and IP54 protection allow the cabinet to be installed outdoors all year round, and the wall mounting simplifies installation on a wall, post or steel structure. The compact dimensions make this version convenient where saving space matters while keeping a full internal mounting space.

Area of application

External dimensions of 800×800×800 mm provide sufficient internal volume to install a mounting panel or DIN rail with switching, low-current and telecommunication equipment, cable entries, terminal blocks and metering elements. This format is generally enough for one or two functional nodes and the associated switching without having to combine them in a larger body.

The wall mounting and IP54 protection rating allow the cabinet to be placed on building facades, posts, overpasses and steel structures in open-air conditions, including precipitation and dust. Mineral wool insulation reduces the effect of temperature changes on the equipment inside, and the compact size makes it possible to install the cabinet in tight conditions where a full-size floor-standing cabinet is not practical.

Where it is used:

  • housing communication nodes and switching equipment on posts and masts;
  • installing telecommunication boxes on facades of industrial and public buildings;
  • setting up connection points for low-current networks on enterprise premises;
  • housing video surveillance and dispatching system equipment;
  • installing metering and automation points on utility networks in the open air;
  • installing switching cabinets along linear facilities and utilities.
