Sfera ShUO 900×700×400 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The ShUO series body with external dimensions of 900×700×400 mm is designed to house equipment of medium mounting density – from switching equipment to metering devices – for outdoor installation. Mineral wool 50 mm thick and a heater with a thermostat maintain a stable temperature inside regardless of weather conditions, and the IP54 protection rating excludes the entry of dust and splashes. This version suits facilities where the cabinet is operated year-round in the open air or in unheated areas.

Area of application

The external dimensions of 900×700×400 mm allow circuit breakers, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, metering devices and small controllers to be placed on the mounting panel and DIN rail with enough room for neat wiring through glands. The wall mounting and compact body depth make it possible to install the cabinet on building walls, posts and steel structures without protruding bases.

The insulated and heated version with a seal around the door perimeter keeps the electronics working through temperature changes and precipitation, and the galvanised body with powder coating protects against corrosion in long-term open-air operation. This format is convenient where a compact automation node needs to be placed at a stand-alone point without building a permanent room.

Where it is used:

  • outdoor electricity metering nodes at transformer substations;
  • automation panels of outdoor lighting systems for streets and roads;
  • control cabinets for pumping stations and water supply nodes;
  • housing controllers of video surveillance and communication systems on posts;
  • automation panels of boiler houses and heating points outside buildings;
  • distribution nodes at construction sites and production territories.
