Sfera ShUO 1000×900×500 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The insulated and heated outdoor version is designed to house electrical equipment outdoors – on open sites, building facades and posts. The dimensions of 1000×900×500 mm and wall mounting allow several rows of DIN rails with automation, metering devices and terminal assemblies to be installed in the body. Mineral wool 50 mm thick and a thermostat-controlled heater maintain a stable temperature regime inside the cabinet regardless of outdoor conditions.

Area of application

The 1000×900×500 mm body by external dimensions holds several DIN rails with circuit breakers, metering devices, relays and terminal blocks, as well as room for a mounting panel for installing additional equipment. The IP54 protection rating and gasket around the door perimeter prevent dust and splashes from getting inside the body, and the cable glands provide sealed entry of cable lines without breaking the protection.

This format is convenient where equipment is operated in the open air and requires protection from sub-zero temperatures: a heater with a thermostat keeps the temperature inside the body above the freezing point, which is important for electronics and switching equipment. The wall mounting allows the cabinet to be installed on building walls, posts and steel structures without allocating extra area for a foundation.

Where it is used:

  • distribution points of outdoor power supply on facades of industrial and public buildings;
  • electricity metering nodes at transformer substations and incoming lines;
  • automation cabinets of outdoor and architectural lighting systems;
  • housing communication and telemechanics equipment on posts and masts;
  • distribution panels at construction sites and temporary facilities;
  • protecting low-current and switching equipment at utility facilities and utility networks.
