Sfera ShU 700×700×400 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The compact ShU 700×700×400 mm outdoor cabinet with IP54 and 50 mm mineral wool insulation is designed to house a small set of automation and metering equipment outdoors. The 700×700 format is intended for facilities where there is no room for a full-size panel and installation is needed on a building wall, post or separate stand. The galvanised steel body with polymer coating protects the electrical equipment in outdoor conditions without building a separate technical room.

Area of application

The 700×700×400 mm cabinet makes it possible to house a mounting panel or DIN rail with small and medium-volume metering devices, circuit breakers, contactors and terminal blocks – as a rule, one or two rows of DIN rails across the width of the body plus room for a metering panel or compact starter. This volume is enough for a service-entrance node, a group of automation for a small facility or the equipment of one process post without a reserve for expansion.

The cabinet is placed on open sites, next to buildings and structures, on posts and stands, where compactness and simple wall mounting without a foundation matter. The cable glands provide cable entry while preserving IP54, and the gasketed door with a lock protects from dust and moisture. If necessary, heating, ventilation, a thermostat, a canopy or an inspection window are installed to order.

Where it is used:

  • electricity metering points at the service entrance of small buildings;
  • automation panels of outdoor lighting systems;
  • communication and telemechanics equipment on posts and masts;
  • control posts for pumping and ventilation units;
  • temporary power supply connection panels on sites;
  • housing instrumentation on utility networks.
