Sfera ShU 600×600×400 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The compact outdoor cabinet of the ShU93 series with dimensions of 600×600×400 mm is designed to house metering devices, automation and small-volume switching equipment directly on open sites. This size is chosen when a compact set of equipment needs to be placed in a limited space – on a post, building wall or fence, without excess free space inside the body. The insulated body with IP54 protection keeps the equipment safe in outdoor operation.

Area of application

The 600×600×400 mm cabinet is designed to take one mounting panel or DIN rails in one or two rows, which allows a compact group of circuit breakers, an electricity meter, a relay or a small controller with terminal blocks to be placed. This space is enough for a basic set of switching and measuring equipment with no spare places for expansion – the format is aimed precisely at local, point metering and control nodes.

Thanks to the small dimensions and weight, the cabinet is easy to mount on a wall, post or fence, and insulation and the IP54 protection rating allow it to be used on open sites without additional shelter. The compact format is in demand where a single metering or automation node must be installed without allocating a separate room or a large panel.

Where it is used:

  • commercial electricity metering nodes at service entrances of private and small commercial facilities;
  • lighting control panels on sections of the street and road network;
  • automation cabinets for individual pump units and small water supply nodes;
  • switching and protection points on power line poles and transformer substations;
  • terminal cabinets of telemechanics and dispatching systems at distributed facilities;
  • control panels for small process equipment at production sites.
