Sfera ShU 600×600×350 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The compact outdoor version of the Sfera series with dimensions of 600×600×350 mm is designed to house small-volume instrumentation and switching equipment for use outdoors. A galvanised body with 50 mm mineral wool insulation and IP54 protection keeps the equipment working in rain, dust and humidity changes. The wall mounting method lets the cabinet be installed on a wall, post or structure without pouring a foundation, which simplifies installation in tight spaces.

Area of application

The 600×600×350 mm dimensions allow a set of circuit breakers, terminal groups, small controllers, metering devices or communication nodes to be placed on a mounting panel or DIN rail. This volume is convenient for a single functional node – a service entrance panel, a control station or a switching point – without having to allocate a separate room for it.

The insulated body and sealed cable glands allow the cabinet to be installed in the open, on a facade, post or enclosing structure, and the wall mounting speeds up installation at sites with limited space at ground level. The compact format makes the cabinet a convenient solution where a protected place for equipment is needed but a large body is not justified.

Where it is used:

  • electricity metering points on posts and building facades;
  • lighting control panels in adjacent areas;
  • switching posts for communication and telemechanics cable lines;
  • housing instrumentation and automation on utility networks;
  • main distribution boards for small facilities and pavilions;
  • protecting video surveillance and alarm system equipment on open sites.
