Area of application

The ShU 500×500×300 insulated outdoor cabinet is designed to house small-sized electrical and telecommunication equipment outdoors. The galvanised steel body with polymer powder coating and 50 mm mineral wool insulation reduces the effect of temperature changes, while the IP54 rating and the door with a gasket protect the contents from dust and atmospheric moisture. The internal volume and DIN rail make it possible to install a compact controller, metering devices, a modem or router, automation and terminal connections; the wall mounting on four brackets is intended for installation on a wall, facade or post.

Area of application

Inside the 500×500×300 mm body are housed electricity meters, circuit breakers, terminal blocks and small low-voltage equipment mounted on a DIN rail. This volume is enough for one or two metering points or a small automation panel with spare room for cable glands and earthing.

The galvanised body with polymer powder coating and a gasket around the door perimeter is installed on building facades, posts, fences and in places where equipment is exposed to precipitation and dust. The wall mounting and low weight simplify installation on existing structures without reinforcing the base.
