Sfera ShU 2000×4500×1080 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The dimensions of 2000×4500×1080 mm are designed to house extended lines of equipment when one standard floor-standing cabinet is not enough and building a separate structure is not practical. Such a Sfera ShU cabinet (URMKS, Sfera Group) is used as a single protected volume for several sets of equipment spread across the width of the body. The galvanised insulated body with IP54 allows outdoor installation without additional shelters.

Area of application

The body width of 4500 mm allows several mounting panels and DIN rails to be placed in a row, dividing the internal volume into conventional sections for different groups of equipment – power part, automation, switching. The depth of 1080 mm makes it possible to install double-row cabinets or large panels with access from both sides, and the height of 2000 mm to place vertical racks and devices on several tiers.

Mineral wool 50 mm and a gasketed door with a lock protect the contents from precipitation and dust with floor installation on a plinth or supports. The large floor-standing cabinet format is convenient where equipment of several systems must be combined in one body without spreading it across separate small cabinets, reducing the number of entries and installation places on the site.

Where it is used:

  • electricity metering and distribution nodes with several groups of connections;
  • switchrooms for process automation systems;
  • housing communication and telemechanics equipment at distribution points;
  • control cabinets for pumping and compressor stations with several drives;
  • combined monitoring and signalling posts at extended facilities;
  • housing group power and low-current equipment on open sites.
