Sfera ShU 1950×2100×600 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The floor-standing outdoor cabinet with a 1950×2100×600 mm body is designed to house the equipment of large distribution nodes, where a large mounting area and several compartments for different groups of devices are required. The increased width of 2100 mm allows the power and low-current parts to be separated within one body, and the height of 1950 mm gives a reserve in the number of mounting panels. The IP54 protection rating and body insulation ensure operation of the equipment when installed outdoors.

Basic configuration. The composition and dimensions are specified for the task – the cabinet is made to order.

Area of application

With a width of 2100 mm and a height of 1950 mm the body allows several mounting panels or DIN rails to be installed in a row, dividing the space into independent functional zones – for example, service entrance and metering, feeder automation and terminal blocks for external connections. The depth of 600 mm is sufficient for devices with a larger projection and for laying cable bundles without crowding. This body volume is designed for panels with a large number of modular positions, where one narrow cabinet no longer holds all the switching.

The cabinet is placed on a plinth or supports on open sites and in places without a permanent building. Body insulation and a gasketed door reduce the effect of temperature changes and precipitation on the installed equipment, and the cable glands provide organised entry of external cables. The wide floor-standing format is convenient where a multi-section panel needs to be housed without building a separate building or extension.

Where it is used:

  • main distribution boards at the boundary of network balance-sheet responsibility;
  • electricity metering panels for a group of consumers;
  • automation and control cabinets for pumping and ventilation units;
  • distribution points of street and architectural lighting;
  • communication nodes and low-current panels housed together with the power part;
  • switching cabinets for temporary and mobile power installations.
