Sfera ShU 1700×1600×600 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The large ShU412 outdoor cabinet is designed to house bulky electrical equipment requiring protection from precipitation, dust and temperature changes. A height of 1700 mm and depth of 600 mm allow several tiers of equipment to be installed on the mounting panel or DIN rail, and mineral wool insulation 50 mm and a gasketed door provide stable operating conditions with wall mounting outdoors.

Area of application

The dimensions of 1700×1600×600 mm and the wall-mounted version make the ShU412 cabinet convenient for organising distribution and metering nodes with a large amount of switching equipment: circuit breakers, contactors, terminal blocks, metering devices and controllers. The internal space allows equipment to be placed in several rows on the mounting panel or DIN rail, leaving room for routing cables through glands and for subsequent maintenance without dismantling neighbouring elements.

The galvanised steel body with polymer powder coating, mineral wool thermal insulation 50 mm and a door with a gasket around the perimeter provide IP54 protection from dust and moisture when installed on open sites, building facades, posts and steel structures. This format is in demand where heterogeneous equipment must be combined in a single protected node without building a separate room.

Where it is used:

  • distribution points of power supply systems at industrial facilities;
  • electricity metering and commercial measurement nodes on open sites;
  • housing automation and telemechanics panels at power industry facilities;
  • control cabinets for outdoor and street lighting;
  • switching nodes of communication systems and low-current equipment outdoors;
  • protecting electrical equipment at construction sites and temporary facilities.
