Sfera ShU 1600×1100×600 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The ShU 1600×1100×600 IP54 floor-standing outdoor cabinet is designed to house large sets of equipment when a wall-mounted or narrow body no longer holds all the switching. The galvanised steel body with polymer powder coating and 50 mm mineral wool insulation withstands operation on open sites and in unheated premises. This format is in demand where several panels, cross-connect equipment or power automation must be assembled in a single protected volume.

Basic configuration. The composition and dimensions are specified for the task – the cabinet is made to order.

Area of application

The 1600×1100×600 mm cabinet holds two or three mounting panels or DIN rails across the full width of the body, which allows several groups of circuit breakers, terminal blocks, contactors and metering devices to be placed at once. The depth of 600 mm leaves room for routing cable runs and installing busbar structures without crowding during installation and subsequent maintenance.

The cabinet is placed on a plinth or supports on open sites, at building service entrances, in technical areas – wherever the equipment remains outdoors or in an unheated room. Insulation and a gasketed door reduce the effect of temperature changes and precipitation on electronics and switching devices, and to order the cabinet is supplemented with heating, ventilation, a thermostat or a canopy for a specific task.

Where it is used:

  • combined electricity metering nodes for several service entrances;
  • low-voltage distribution points for a group of consumers;
  • cross-connect and telecommunication equipment at communication sites;
  • automation and control panels for pumping and ventilation units;
  • power switching at construction and production sites;
  • housing automated metering (ASKUE) and dispatching devices at utility facilities.
