Sfera ShU 1500×1000×500 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The Sfera ShU 1500×1000×500 mm floor-standing outdoor cabinet is designed to house bulky sets of electrical and low-current equipment, where one row of DIN rails or several panels are not enough. The galvanised steel body with polymer powder coating and IP54 protection is intended for installation outdoors, and mineral wool insulation 50 mm reduces the effect of temperature changes on the equipment inside. This format suits where room is needed in reserve for expanding the circuit or installing additional options.

Area of application

The 1500×1000×500 mm cabinet allows two or three rows of DIN rails or several mounting panels with circuit breakers, meters, controllers and terminal blocks to be housed. With a width of 1000 mm the mounting panel holds equipment in 3–4 functional sections – for example, service entrance, metering, distribution and the low-current part in one body. The cable glands in the basic configuration provide organised entry of cable lines from different sides.

The cabinet is installed on a plinth or supports outdoors, where protection of the equipment from dust and moisture to class IP54 is required. The floor-standing body format is convenient with a large number of incoming cables and allows maintenance without dismantling neighbouring equipment. To order, the cabinet is equipped with heating, ventilation, a thermostat, a canopy and an inspection window.

Where it is used:

  • distribution points of outdoor power grids with several groups of outgoing lines;
  • electricity metering nodes for apartment buildings and commercial facilities;
  • automation and dispatching panels for utility systems on sites with restricted access;
  • housing communication and low-current system equipment together with the power part;
  • lighting and ventilation control cabinets at production and warehouse territories;
  • security and video surveillance system equipment at facilities with outdoor installation.
