Basic configuration. The composition and dimensions are specified for the task – the cabinet is made to order.

Area of application

The 1000×700×500 mm cabinet allows a mounting panel or DIN rails to be placed in several rows, with circuit breakers, contactors, a meter, terminal blocks and cable entries accommodated on them, taking cable glands for external routes into account. The width of 700 mm gives room to install several vertical rows of modular devices and to route wire harnesses without overloading the mounting field, and the depth of 500 mm to house equipment with protruding elements and arrange cable ducts.

The cabinet is installed on a plinth or supports and is designed to work in the open air or at facilities without heated premises. The door with a gasket and lock protects the contents from unauthorised access and dust, and the compact external dimensions allow the cabinet to be placed on a limited site – next to a building wall, on a post or in a technical area – without having to allocate a separate room. If necessary, the configuration is supplemented with heating, ventilation, a thermostat, a canopy or an inspection window – to order.

Where it is used:

• electricity metering and distribution at a building service entrance or at the boundary of balance-sheet responsibility;
• control of outdoor and street lighting at facilities of limited area;
• housing automation and I&C panels at industrial enterprise sites;
• setting up control nodes for pumping stations and local utility systems;
• housing communication and low-current system equipment at distribution points;
• installing switching and protection equipment at construction and temporary sites.
