Sfera ShU 1000×1200×600 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The insulated outdoor cabinet of the Sfera series with dimensions of 1000×1200×600 mm is designed to house a bulky set of equipment – from power automation to metering and communication nodes. A galvanised steel body with mineral wool 50 mm and protection rating IP54 ensures operation in open outdoor conditions, and the wall mounting allows the cabinet to be installed on a wall, post or frame without burying. This version suits where a roomy body that is compact in depth is needed for outdoor installation.

Area of application

The body, 1000 mm high and 1200 mm wide with a depth of 600 mm, holds several rows of modular equipment on a DIN rail and mounting panel: circuit breakers, contactors, relays, metering devices, terminal blocks and cable entries. This volume makes it possible to assemble distribution panels and automation panels with room for additional modules without moving up to a larger size.

Mineral wool thermal insulation 50 mm and IP54 protection make the cabinet suitable for operation in the open on a street, industrial site or infrastructure facility without additional shelter. The wall-mounted method is convenient when ground space is limited – the cabinet is fixed to a building wall, post or steel structure, and the compact depth of 600 mm minimises the projection of the structure into aisles and technical corridors.

Where it is used:

  • distribution panels of low-voltage networks at industrial sites;
  • automation cabinets for ventilation and water supply systems at utility facilities;
  • electricity metering nodes at transformer substations and building service entrances;
  • control cabinets for outdoor and architectural lighting;
  • housing communication and telemechanics equipment at linear facilities;
  • automation panels at production and warehouse complexes.
