Sfera ShNU 700×500×300 IP54 cabinet

Characteristics

The compact ShNU 700×500×300 mm outdoor body is designed to house a small switching or metering node where a full-size cabinet cannot be installed. Galvanised steel with polymer powder coating and the IP54 protection rating allow it to be mounted in the open, on a building wall or on a post. This format is used when there is little equipment and the installation place is limited in area.

Basic configuration. The composition and dimensions are specified for the task – the cabinet is made to order.

Area of application

With a width of 500 mm and a height of 700 mm, the cabinet holds a mounting panel or a length of DIN rail with 1–2 rows of modular devices – as a rule, a main breaker, several group breakers or RCDs, and a terminal block for circuit wiring. The depth of 300 mm leaves room for routing cable and installing a small meter or controller without tightly bundled wires.

The format suits a point metering, automation or switching node placed outdoors next to a specific facility, rather than a group distribution point. The compact dimensions and wall mounting allow the cabinet to be placed where it is important not to take up much space on a facade or post, and the basic door gasket and cable glands protect against dust and splashes in open installation; if necessary, the configuration is supplemented with heating, ventilation or a canopy to order.

Where it is used:

  • electricity metering point at the service entrance of a building or structure;
  • switching cabinet for outdoor lighting – poles, facades, sites;
  • housing a controller or starter of small automation next to an individual unit;
  • connection panel for a temporary or auxiliary facility at a construction site;
  • remote communication or low-current switching node on a post or wall;
  • compact distribution point for a local section of a network – garage, checkpoint, technical annex.
