Equipment

Basic configuration. The composition and dimensions are specified for the task – the cabinet is made to order.

Area of application

The 1400×600×600 mm cabinet allows a mounting panel or several DIN rails in 3–4 rows to be installed, housing a main breaker, a set of outgoing line breakers, an electricity meter, terminal blocks and monitoring devices. This height and depth are enough for a medium-sized distribution node, where equipment is grouped on several levels rather than placed in a single row as in low cabinets.

Floor installation on a plinth or supports makes the cabinet a stand-alone element on a site that needs no wall or additional support structure. The absence of insulation limits use to facilities without strict requirements for climatic protection of the equipment; if necessary, heating, ventilation or a thermostat are installed to order. The cable glands and the gasketed door with a lock provide a convenient and protected connection of cable lines.

Where it is used:

• electricity metering and line distribution at a building service entrance or at the boundary of a plot;
• housing a group of circuit breakers for several consumers at a facility;
• setting up a lighting panel for a territory or outdoor networks;
• installing equipment at construction sites and temporary facilities;
• housing monitoring and alarm devices at utility structures;
• switching of cable lines at distribution points of small facilities.
